Who Writes the Content

Every guide is written by Umar Farooq, the site's founder. He is not a credentialed botanist — he's a longtime sansevieria owner who researches each topic in depth before writing about it.

How Topics Are Researched

Before publishing, each article is checked against:

• Established horticultural and plant-science sources
• Hands-on experience growing and troubleshooting sansevieria at home
• What experienced growers report seeing in practice, cross-checked for consistency

Where the evidence is mixed or a claim is uncertain, the article says so instead of presenting a guess as fact.

How Product Recommendations Work

Any product mentioned — soil mixes, pots, tools, fertilizers — is recommended because it solves a real, specific problem discussed in the article, not because it pays the highest commission. Some links are affiliate links, including through the Amazon Associates program; see the affiliate disclosure for how that works. If a free or cheaper option works just as well, the article says that too.

Corrections and Updates

Plant care understanding evolves, and mistakes happen. When an error is found — whether by a reader or during a later review — the article is updated directly rather than left uncorrected. Significant changes are reflected in the article's last-updated date.
